Local private education consultancy Laidlaw Education‘s new Summer Programme is now open for booking. They are offering workshops, courses and correspondence courses this summer for children at at their Dukes Meadows classrooms near Chiswick Bridge, just past Mortlake.

The long summer holiday is a great opportunity for children to advance, consolidate and revise, and is especially important for children preparing for entrance exams to keep up momentum until the new academic year starts in September.

2018 Programme highlights:

New Workshops for 11+ and 7+/8+
The 11+ Workshops will run twice per week, Wednesday mornings for English and Verbal Reasoning and Thursday mornings for Maths and Non-Verbal Reasoning. We are also repeating our popular Tiffin Workshop which will include a variety of different exam techniques and skills.

Specialist educational support from the Laidlaw Hall team
Are you concerned about your child’s progress in reading and spelling?  If so, then Laidlaw Education can help! Specialist Individual assessments are available on certain dates to help pinpoint the cause. Individual specialist lessons are available throughout the summer for children to tackle areas of weakness, develop their skills and build confidence.

Two day Creative Writing Course
Running on three separate weeks with different material – an ideal course to fire up your child’s imagination and help them become budding authors.

Study Skills Courses
Help children to manage their self-organisation and recognise their learning style to optimise revision skills. Laidlaw Education are running two Study Skills courses, one for children starting Senior School (or going into years 8/9), the other for those going into year 10 or 11 and embarking on GCSE courses.

Learn by Post
For those who are away from London for much of the summer Laidlaw Education will continue to offer our popular “Learn by Post” Correspondence Course.

Places are always limited so early booking is advised. Lessons and courses are open to all children irrespective of whether they take lessons during term time.

All the Workshops, Courses and Learn by Post are booked on line.
For all individual lessons and assessments or if you require any further information please contact Laidlaw Education directly on 020 8487 9517 or via email.
