Part-time Advertising Sales Person Wanted – Living In Magazines

8-10 hours/week (possibility of term time only, if required). Self-employed, £12 per hour plus commission (after a required number of initial sales).

I publish two local magazines – Living In Barnes, East Sheen & West Putney and Living In Richmond, Kew & East Twickenham – which reach 28,000 local homes and businesses.

Sales/telesales: The sales job is to build up sales through visits to local businesses and also by phone. The sales person will visit local businesses (East Sheen, Barnes, Putney, Richmond, East Twickenham), build up relationships with them and close sales. There will also be telesales calls from my office (based in Kew). My style is not hard, pushy sales and I am looking for someone who is personable on the phone and when meeting people, but highly skilled at getting those appointments booked and sales made.

Approaching businesses: A great part of the job is getting to know local people running local businesses. They love their local community and are proud to be a part of it. For those that are already in the magazines, they see the publications as their best-value form of advertising, enabling them to reach their local target market. Businesses that don’t yet advertise will benefit from advertising their services, as the magazines have a proven track record and are very popular locally.

Full Time Sales Assistant – A Party Palace, East Sheen

We are looking for a sales assistant with a passion for great customer service. We specialise in balloons and making them look gorgeous (no previous experience needed, lots of training given)! We also sell everything else you would need for a party from fancy dress to tableware.

The role would be suitable for someone with customer facing experience who enjoys being around people in a fast paced environment. We have a very busy shop over the Halloween Period and the role needs someone who loves crazy busy & would be willing to dress up, too!

The job also includes dealing with stock deliveries into the store, merchandising, cash handling & general housekeeping. You would be able to work Monday – Saturday with a day off during the week and occasional Sundays. This a 40 hour/week full–time position. A clean driving license would be helpful but not essential.
