A new networking group has been set up in East Sheen to help local businesses connect with and support each other.
The Sheen Network was formed by local business owners, Jane Cox of Jane Cox Photography and Pippa Duncan, editor and owner of Living In Barnes, East Sheen & West Putney magazine, who’ve both lived and worked in the area for more than 15 years.
‘We wanted to set up a group that was relaxed and friendly, but with the focus on local companies doing business with each other, too,’ adds Pippa. ‘We also invite a select number of businesses from the wider local area, so that we can all connect with as many other companies as possible.’
‘We are always interested in new businesses attending, so would love to hear from anyone living locally, or with a customer base in the East Sheen area who would like to join us,’ says Jane.
The events run from 6.30pm to 8.30pm and everyone attending has a chance to talk briefly about what they do and how we can help them that month. For example, they may be looking for referrals, or recommendations for business related services, such as a website designer. Tickets are from £10, which includes a glass of wine.
The networking event is usually held on the 4th Tuesday of each month, at the Hare and Hounds pub. We have space for a limited number of people, so do email us well beforehand if you’d like to be added to the guest list!
