Join Katyoga in the beautiful surroundings of Christchurch Hall for Vinyasa Flow on Wednesday evenings – or drop in on Fridays.
Katyoga Vinyasa Flow Yoga Classes, which begin on 6 September, are suitable for all abilities, from beginner upwards. They will help you begin to move with less effort and greater happiness in your body. So, if you’re feeling in need of some focus on your own wellbeing, they could be just what you need.
The word “vinyasa” can be translated as “arranging something in a special way,” and in vinyasa yoga classes, students coordinate movement with breath to flow from one pose to the next. Vinyasa is also the term used to describe a specific sequence of poses (Chaturanga to Upward-Facing Dog to Downward-Facing Dog) commonly used throughout a vinyasa class.
East Sheen resident, Katy Dent, is an experienced and fully qualified yoga instructor, and she has been running group and private classes in Barnes, Richmond and East Sheen for over 10 years. In East Sheen the classes take place in the beautiful new church hall at Christchurch.
“Having practised yoga for many years, I decided to become a teacher in order to pass on the many wonderful benefits to others,” says Katy. “I trained extensively with the British Wheel of Yoga, qualifying in 2008 and I also completed my Pregnancy Yoga teacher training with respected teacher Uma Dinsmore-Tulli in 2010.”
Katy is fully qualified and insured by British Wheel of Yoga. Private classes are also available. Why not get in touch and try one of her classes in September?
