New Christmas Club and Breakfast Club at The New Spring Nursery School

Categories: East Sheen,East Sheen News,News

Popular local nursery The New Spring Nursery School now offers places in its breakfast club and Christmas Club for non nursery school children. They also have nursery places available, including a number of fully funded places for 3 year olds.

The New Spring Nursery SchoolThe New Spring Nursery School is a local nursery school in SW14; they are located just behind Richmond Park Academy Secondary School and are based in a large, bright and inviting church hall which is surrounded by a spacious garden.

The nursery provides a nutritious and healthy breakfast 8am-9:15am every weekday for the children in its breakfast club. The breakfast club is open to both children currently attending the nursery school and those who are not.

In the second week of December, the nursery is running a Christmas Club for children aged 2-5 years. The Club is from Monday 11th December to Thursday 14th December, 9 am-3pm. Activities include cooking, planting, arts and crafts, puppet making, fun & games with a different activity every day. The fee is £60.00 per day including hot/cold lunch, drinks & snacks provided or £12.00 per hour if only booking part of the session. Places must be booked and paid in full by Friday 24th November.

“Our aim is to encourage families in the local area, with children of two years and above, to come and take a look around our nursery school” – says manager Julie Maskell. She’s inviting parents to come and see what the nursery has to offer and sign up for a place for for 3, 4 or 5 mornings during term time until it’s time for children to go onto primary school.

Private nurseries are not necessarily unaffordable: “We are offering a number of fully funded places for 3 year olds” – states Ms Maskell. “Families that would not necessarily be able to send their child to a nursery school, may not have previously considered pre-school education, low income families or single parent families.”
