Boxing Is Fun Exercise For All The Family

Categories: East Sheen,East Sheen News,News

Are you looking for a fun fitness session for the whole family? Consider boxing. “Boxing training is renown through the sports world as probably the best form of all round training. Not only is it the perfect way to stay in all round shape but if taught correctly and professionally it will also naturally develop a skill for self defence in all regular participants” – says Carlie Aimakhu, owner of BeMore Fitness Studio. Boxing is also a fun way to relieve stress – it’s the perfect way to work out.

It’s not just for adults either: if you have kids aged 8 or older, they can join you for the weekend boxing sessions at BeMore studio, which aims to cater for everyone inclusive of age, gender and fitness levels. Boxing sessions can help you get fit, lose weight and tone up like the professionals.

Leroy, the studio’s Saturday coach, worked with Anthony Joshua in Harrow Leisure Centre before the 2012 Olympics and his gold medal win. He became an ambassador for the boxing programme Sweet Science as he embraced the idea of teaching young people the discipline for fitness and self-control that goes with it. Anthony Joshua follows in the footsteps of a previous British legend in Sir Henry Cooper who was the first ever ambassador for Sweet Science back in 2005.

BeMore’s Sunday coach, Bradley Spencer also works with Sweet Science. He is a professional boxer and a professional trainer. He has sparred with the likes of George Groves and Chris Eubank Jr. He made his professional debut at the home of British boxing, York Hall, on March the 3rd.

The studio runs adult boxing sessions on Tuesdays at 6.30am, Wednesdays at 12.15pm. Weekend sessions are for families with Saturday sessions 9-10am for adults & 12-15 year old children and Sunday sessions 9-10am for adults & 8-11 year old children. Sessions cost £13.50 for adults, £8 for children or £25 for one adult and two children.
