Dog & Pet Health, Vets
Is your dog suffering from lameness or stiffness, perhaps as the result of an old injury, a condition such as osteoarthritis, a repetitive strain or surgery? Then Canine Myotherapy - a hands-on treatment for chronic muscular pain in dogs – could be the answer.
Canine Myotherapy is unique and specialised in the way it identifies and treats muscular issues and injuries in dogs. It uses advanced targeted massage techniques to promote optimal muscle function for dogs, helping them to recover from injury, lameness, back pain, muscle tension, post-operative or post-trauma issues and stress and behaviour related problems. It is also extremely effective when treating compensatory issues including osteoarthritis, hip/elbow dysplasia, cruciate issues, osteochondritis dissecans, spondylyitis and more.
Pawsitive Touch is run by local resident and Galen Canine Myotherapist©, Lucy Tyrrell. As a certified Galen Canine Myotherapist ©, Lucy uses specific palpation skills to carry out a muscle balance assessment to identify where the pain is coming from before commencing treatment and only treats with veterinary consent. Treatment takes place in the dog’s own home.
Pawsitive Touch is offering SW14 dogs a FREE Muscle Balance Assessment until 31 March 2017
