Holiday activities for boys and girls aged 4-11 years based at East Sheen Primary School.
Next Step Holiday Activities comes alive during the school holiday periods. Our two programmes: NS Stars and NS Strikers see your child enjoy their time away from school.
NS Stars is the perfect place to stay active, see school friends and make new ones. No day is ever the same and we ensure all children leave with a smile!
NS Strikers is a football focused programme that looks to capture children's imagination for the game and inspire them to develop their skills further. We take them to whichever level they want to reach.
This Ofsted approved service works closely with policies and procedures similar to these in place at schools and in care settings. Our unique programmes ensure that your child can maintain their development and learning through play in a safe and appropriate environment.
At Monkey Music, we know that music is fundamental to a pre-school child's development. Our progressive and educational four stage classes are designed to nurture a lifetime of music: from Rock'n'Roll to Ding-Dong, classes are a 'good fit' for each separate age group. By the time our little monkeys 'graduate', they have a sound base from which to build a musical future.... have a look!
Teacher, Rachel Williams, has an early childhood music qualification and has been teaching Monkey Music classes for over six years. She is passionate about the value of her classes where babies and toddlers can develop language, physical and social skills, with music at the heart.
"I would love to welcome you and your child to our award-winning baby and toddler classes. Please contact me to book a free class."
Classes are held at Parkside Community (Elim) Church, Upper Richmond Road, East Sheen SW14 8DU and also at St Mary the Virgin, Mortlake High Street, Mortlake SW14 8JA
We aspire to make playing rugby fun for all: Kids love it, Parents love it and Coaches love it. We champion rugby’s core values of Respect, Teamwork, Discipline, Enjoyment – and most importantly – Sportsmanship. We are committed to providing an inclusive, ego-free environment and everyone at the club is welcome to contribute in their own way. Barnes is formally accredited to the RFU’s Kid’s First programme. Under 5s to Under 8s play Tag Rugby with contact introduced at under 9 level. A progression of new skills such as rucking, mauling and scrums are introduced at later age groups.
All age groups get to enjoy a Rugby Tour each year. The Under 7s to Under 10s tour to the same destination, usually as a group of 250-300 tourists – including entire families. The Under 11 age group tours annually to Laon in France marking a ‘rite of passage’ into the Junior division. These tours are very much part of the Club’s ethos and serve to bind the player and parents into a tight unit. Our tours are about building lifelong memories and friendships.
The children at Barnes Minis and Juniors Rugby Club are 4-18 years old. The season commences on 7th September 2019 and concludes with a Tour at the end of April 2020.
The Minis, those at Primary School, train at the Barn Elms Sports Trust pitches on Saturday morning from 9:30am until 11am. It’s a perfect way to get the weekend underway with an rigorous activity, some fresh air and a shared coffee. Festivals and triangular fixtures are played on a select number of Sundays during the season.
The Juniors & Colts, those at Secondary School and Sixth Form, train further down Queen Elizabeth Walk at the Barn Elms Sports Centre pitches on Sunday morning from 10am to 12pm.
Superdads is a specially designed range of workshops for Dads & their kids. Our mission is to provide Dad's with quality time to play, learn and bond with their little ones. We offer a variety of different class themes all of which are created with care and a lot of love for the small details that really make a difference. Our classes and workshops are held at the weekend to ensure all Dad's get to enjoy the experience, and run from ages 3+. We often host our classes at local pubs where people already feel familiar and comfortable, and our mission is to unite Dad's from local areas and help the fatherhood community feel that little bit more family-like, all whilst providing a whole heap of fun and laughs with our unique class concepts! Our events have received local press coverage and we are also nominated for the multi-award winning Club Hub 2020 awards. Tickets are bookable via the website and Gift Vouchers are also available.
Class range includes activities such as the below, and our website and social media will keep you up to date with new class date announcements. So stay tuned and subscribe to our mailing list for news and offers!
