The Mayday Weekend is a-coming which means Sheen Folk Blues Festival is upon us — the Tenth in the series — and the weather forecast is lookin’ mighty fine. So the central event of the festival — the Big Outdoors at The Home Guard — should be a great opportunity to enjoy another live music extravaganza in the sun.

Sunday afternoon music extravaganza in the Open Air. Over 5 hours of alfresco folk, blues, country and rock in the grounds of the Home Guard Club — with local bands and special guests joining the bands or performing solo/duo slots between main acts.

The Festival traditionally closes with a relaxed Sunday evening Open Mic hosted by Sebastian Stride at the Pig & Whistle in Sheen Lane — and the event consistently attracts some top notch performers.
