If you have recently lost a JoJo MamanBebe bunny comforter around East Sheen, we’ve got good news: it has been found. Actually, two of them were!
Local resident Cassia writes: “Yesterday I was out for a run (on a completely new route) and ran past a sign that said “Lost Rabbit”, with a picture of a toy rabbit on it. I passed it, not thinking much of it and ran my route, ending at Waitrose to do my shopping and walk home.”
“On my way out of Waitrose, I see a toy rabbit on the ground and realise it looks very similar to the rabbit on the sign! I pick it up and resolve to take the long route to go past the sign again and call the number on it, sticking the rabbit in my bag.”
“I find the poster and compare the toy I’ve picked up to the photo. It’s the same rabbit, definitely, so I dial the number, but as the other line is ringing, I read the rest of the poster, which says that they have *found* a rabbit, not lost one!”
“The lady on the other line called me back later in the day, and we determined that we had both, within 10 days of each other, found the same model of rabbit, just streets apart. I’m not sure if a child lost a rabbit and then a subsequent replacement, or two children have lost the same toy within the same month, but either way it was a series of strange coincidences!”
“The main thing is that I now have this rabbit, so I need to find the owner! I’d feel terrible having picked it up and not delivered it at this point. The other lady hasn’t found the owner of her rabbit either.”
